6/1/24. Curbs

 6/1/24 curbs at Matoaca Middle - 7:45 am - 60 degrees - sunny - not much breeze

Track 1 - 30 yds - short hard steps - F at start,10, 18, 25 - article  - age 10 min.  - he was perfect!

Track 2 - 60 yds - short hard steps - F at start, 10, 25, 35, 45, article - great first half, then where curb got lower he went up onto side walk, came back and went out onto asphalt, then back to tracking. 

Track 3 - 80 yds - short hard steps - F at start and then random every 10-15 yds and in article- this one was going downwind and he did great! Seems to be his best direction.

 1/19/25. Laid these short tracks one at a time, ran him within 5 minutes and put him in the car to marinate while I laid the next one. Food drops varied between 10-15 steps apart. He got better with each track. Track #1. I think I should have stopped instead of slowed down?? 60 degrees, gusts up to 29 mph, 46% humidity     Laid at 9:25, ran at 10:40ish Good start, good articles, stayed with track The random gloves that were 5 yds past the end of the hangman drew him forward and then he is used to continuing on straight after finding an article, so he went straight on. Andrea stopped us and then we did the back up routine until he found the leg. I was happy with our overall performance.
