    I don’t think (?) pred has a lot of influence on scenting ability. That said, we have no idea how he feels. It looks like over the three tracks his casting became less? Have I shown you how to lay an open angle turn? I’m kinda wondering if turning might increase his interest in staying on the track….

 1/19/25. Laid these short tracks one at a time, ran him within 5 minutes and put him in the car to marinate while I laid the next one. Food drops varied between 10-15 steps apart. I think I should have stopped instead of slowed down?? 60 degrees, gusts up to 29 mph, 46% humidity     Laid at 9:25, ran at 10:40ish Good start, good articles, stayed with track The random gloves that were 5 yds past the end of the hangman drew him forward and then he is used to continuing on straight after finding an article, so he went straight on. Andrea stopped us and then we did the back up routine until he found the leg. I was happy with our overall performance.
