9/16/23. Two tracks at Pocahontas State Park
8:30 am. Sunny. 60 degrees. Very short grass on hard packed dirt. Grass was wet from dew.
Put track #2 parallel to a ditch. Did short tracks due to novel location and very short grass.
10 foot lead line. No food on track, gave food from pocket at each article indicated. Ball at end of 2nd track.
Scent was going down into ditch and he tracked on the ditch side of the actual track but found the article. He stopped for a pee on the 2nd track which is not like him, maybe novel location stress?
