Tracking with Dewey and Ellen

 10/29/25. Distance Track  762 yards 2 hours age, 51 degrees, light misty rain, 88% humidity, wind 8-21. Because we struggled with turns on our last track, I scuffed out of these turns and put food on them. Rough start and lots of weaving on Leg 1 - I tried to apply more pressure when he was off the track and dump some line when he was on it, a skill in progress. He did well on his turns and noticeably perked up after finding out there were hot dogs on the track. Tracking on Leg 2 and 3 was great.  10/28/25. Turns  at PSP  - sparse short grass, raining, 49 degrees, wind 11-30, 84% humidity Age 2 hours 50 min,     https://youtu.be/qzQDSBwAzrk?feature=shared Started okay, could not do the first turn so I stopped and then restarted him on an article on leg 3. He tracked straight okay but could not do the next turn either, so I stopped. Restarted him on leg 5 - he crossed road without a problem but wanted to be about 6 feet to left of track.  Not sure if it is the age or the rain or the sparse grass or just a bad day.
