Tracking with Dewey and Ellen

 4/19/25. Prepping for trial next weekend which may be hot!  Two turns in the heat. 80 degrees with 13 mph wind. Aged it 30 minutes.  Fed at the start article. He was surfing on leg one and had trouble with the first turn, we backed up and he worked it out. Food drop on leg 2 at 30 feet reinforced that turn, thankfully.  Leg 2, the turn and leg 3 were good! Food drop on leg 3 at 25 feet. No trouble with the bandana as the final article. 

 4/17/25. Two Start tracks in a new location with tall grass He did pretty well! Going to feed at the start article next time to reinforce the down there. Great loss of scent and we backed up together well. 

 4/12/25. Four turns - Delayed Reinforcement Track - 54 degrees, partly sunny, 5:00pm Scuffed most of it, no food until end article - then a food party and ball throws. . 250 yards total. 30 min. old,  Great start, great article indications (bandanas), great turns and stayed on the track until the end article where he air scented to it.

 4/2/25. Article Track. All good except for the black glove that I had picked up as a random article at PSP. For some reason, he didn’t think it was an article.  I will be sure to scent it more and try it again later. 8:30 am, sunny, 40 degrees, dew on grass

 4/1/25.  Starts.  1 hr 15 min and 2 hr 15 min ran at 4:30 pm, sunny, 70 degrees 2 hr 15 min Start - good start and good turn and good down at articles 1 hr 15 min Start - good start, terrible turn and good down at articles Tomorrow is an article track
